By John Davidson,aka "Botany John". Published in 1914, it now lives forever in the Internet Archives.
The botanical garden is a 100 years old next year, it was first at Essondale from 1912-1916, when it was moved to Point Grey, todays UBC Botanical garden

That really is a good picture of the West Lawns. Do you know if the number of patients going missing has increased? Or has it decreased a certain amount?
